A Proposal to increase the OHC Membership dues starting in the 2021 membership year will be presented at the OHC State meeting scheduled for August 9th, 2020

 

Dues Increase Proposal Details

Increase Dues by $5 per membership starting in 2021 to:
Family $35
Individual $25
Youth $10 (no increase)
Associate $40

 

In addition the following Bylaw and Standing rule amendments will be proposed at the state meeting on August 9, 2020

OHC BYLAWS & STANDING RULES AMENDMENT PROPOSALS

Amendments for Bylaws Committee to recommend at the March 2020 general membership meeting:

Bylaws Amendment 1.

4.0     ARTICLE IV:   MEMBERSHIP

From:

4.1        A prospective member must submit a written an application in form as approved by the OHC, pay the current dues to the Membership Committee, and agree to the Bylaws and Standing Rules of OHC.

To:

Standing Rules Amendment 1.

4.5.2        Membership Committee

From:

4.5.2.5        Not less than twice monthly, county chapters must send to the Membership Committee chair all completed and signed new member applications.

To:

4.5.2.5        Deleted

 

Bylaws Amendment 2.

From:

4.11      At Large Membership

4.11.1      Any member may be a member at large if he or she does not claim a county chapter affiliation. An active member at large shall have the benefits, voting and office holding rights of an individual, family, youth or lifetime member, whichever is applicable.

4.11.2      A member at large may not claim a chapter affiliation for the entire membership year.

To:

4.11      At Large Membership

4.11.1      Any member may be a member at large if he or she does not claim a county chapter affiliation. An active member at large shall have the benefits and State OHC voting and office holding rights of an individual, family, youth or lifetime member, whichever is applicable.

4.11.2      A member at large may change to a primary chapter affiliation at any time during the membership year.  The member must pay any additional chapter charge applicable to the new primary chapter.
