About Us
Greene County Chapter (GCOHC) is an active club within Greene County. We maintain the trails at Caesar Ford Park in Xenia, Ohio. This park is a multi-use area that caters to disc golfers, hikers, equines, and has carting trails. Our trails are well-maintained and cross over the bike trail connector from Xenia to Jamestown. The trails are well marked and color-coded. The Easy Peasy Group Rides are particularly popular with all types of riders. The group rides are posted on our Greene County Facebook page.
Greene County Parks and Trails recently constructed and finished a class A campground with 12 campsites that include full hookups, a shelter house, restrooms, and showers. There is a 53-spot equine tie line for horse campers, with compost pits nearby for equine leavings. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit, hook up to water and electric, and pull-through pads. There is a playground near the campsites.
We have monthly meetings on the third Friday of each month at 7 pm. It is a potluck and currently held at the Greene County Parks building in Xenia. We assist with the Greene County Fair, 4-H, and have several youngsters in our club. These youth are the future stewards of our club and assist with trails, fundraising, and other group activities. We need to be sure there will be trails for our future generations of equine enthusiasts.

If you are a primary member of another chapter and want to be a secondary member of our chapter, you can print a secondary membership form (click on blue type) and mail it to the chapter treasurer. Please refer to the treasurer’s address on the primary membership form and add any chapter charges shown to the secondary membership fee of $3 Individual or $5 Family.
