About Us
Lawrence County Chapter OHC, also known as Soggy Bottom Riders has worked with Wayne National Forrest Service, Ironton District, to maintain Paddle Creek Trailhead as well as 60+ miles of trails. LCOHC was the first Volunteer Horse Patrol in the Wayne National Forest, Ironton District. All riders are welcome and LCOHC helps make their visit enjoyable. Several members help with search and rescue lost hikers. Several members have received special training with Chainsaws and CPR. This allows members to cut and remove trees from the trails.
We are a group of fun folks who love to ride and get outdoors with their equine partners. Feel free to contact us for information about our next meeting, ride or get together! Happy trails ya’ll!
