About Us
Summit County Chapter OHC was formed to provide a place for local equine owners to socialize, enjoy pleasure rides, preserve and promote horses in Ohio regardless of breed affiliation. We promote the development and usage of bridle trails throughout the county, and specifically work on equine trails within the Summit Metro parks. We also participate in local equine interests and activities.

Spring and fall there are social gatherings with wine being held at Richfield Heritage Preserve our special trail area

If you prefer not to use the online system to join or renew with our chapter, print our chapter’s membership form (click on blue type) and mail it with payment to the chapter treasurer at the address shown on the form.
If you are a primary member of another chapter and want to be a secondary member of our chapter, you can print a secondary membership form (click on blue type) and mail it to the chapter treasurer. Please refer to the treasurer’s address on the primary membership form and add any chapter charges shown to the secondary membership fee of $3 Individual or $5 Family.

Cuyahoga OHC September Planning Meeting at McDonalds in Independence click here for information
Meeting location is 6201 Brecksville Road, Independence, OH in the upstairs area. Join Cuyahoga OHC as we discuss the budget for the upcoming year 2025 at our September Meeting. Join Cuyahoga, Medina, and Summit Ohio Horseman's Council Chapters at the Chagrin Polo Fields in the Cleveland Metroparks. Friday will be registration and parking starting at noon with Pizza and dessert for supper provided by DAC.
