Congratulations to Chuck Lofton of Dillonvale, OH for well-deserved recognition as a volunteer who has worked tirelessly in development and maintenance of bridle trails. A passion for horses started at a very young age, but not until after high school and serving in the army did he finally get his first horse. As a result, many equestrians in Ohio and Pennsylvania can appreciate his efforts that started in the 1960’s cutting trails in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania as well as working side-by-side with Wilbur “Gibby” Gibson to establish the trail system at Barkcamp State Park.
This award was given to Chuck and celebrated with a few close friends during a cold, damp day at Barkcamp in late October.  Thank you Chuck for your efforts to establish some phenomenal trails for everyone to enjoy!
