Camping allowed in wide open gravel area and grass parking – not much shade. Please DO NOT PARK beside the water well, it is for the use of everyone. Tie lines, water trough, bring-your-own electric fence corrals-grazing allowed. Shelter house, port-o-lets, bulletin board, mounting block, some picnic tables, ground fires allowed.
30 miles of Multi-use – Bridle, hiking and fishing/hunting area. Reclaimed strip mine high walls, lakes, various specie tree plantings, wildlife sightings of turkey, beaver, coyote, deer, raccoon, groundhogs, etc. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WATER YOUR HORSE IN A LAKE. They start off shallow and drop off abruptly 20-30 ft. deep with submerged trees. Use creek or roadside water only.
