Camp Tuscazoar was founded more than a century ago by Scout leaders who recognized that the beauty and history of the land offered a valuable place for boys to learn, grow and become young men. Today, Camp Tuscazoar continues to serve scouts and other youth organizations under the guidance of the Camp Tuscazoar Foundation, an Ohio non-profit corporation. Large numbers of weekend campers, hikers, mountain bikers and horse riders visit throughout the year.
More than 18 miles of easy to moderate to challenging horse trails are available through wooded areas with scenic landmarks along the way such as Pioneer’s Point, Buzzard’s Roost and the Wall. Horse camping is available (as of Jan 2023) but it is in a shared RV camp. See below for the details and CALL for reservations.
