Once farmland and woodlots, more than 50 years of natural succession have created rich areas of forests, thickets, meadows and prairies to explore at Carriage Hill. Equestrians can enjoy more than 7 miles of bridle trails through these open meadows, tall-grass prairies and forested areas on natural surface trails with some shallow stream crossings. The day-use trailhead has a gravel surface and is large enough for several trailers. No amenities. Second trailhead is at riding center. See map.
Trail rating: easy: level or gently sloping terrain, consistent groomed surface; wide trail surface; shallow or no water crossings.
