The over 13 miles of trails at Edison Woods loop through open prairie and wooded areas on relatively flat terrain. The trails are primitive with natural surfaces. The Smokey Rd trailhead has a large grassy area for parking with high lines, tie rails, restrooms and a shelter house with picnic tables. These trails are maintained by Erie County Chapter OHC and has big plans for future development. Enjoy the scenery on easy to moderate trails. Big rigs approach via Driver Rd., not Smokey Rd. A new trailhead has been added on Mason Rd. See map.

Easy – level or gently sloping terrain, consistent groomed surface; wide trail surface; shallow or no water crossings.
