There are 4 primitive trails of varying length, totaling 10 miles that circle Hammertown Lake. They pass through open fields and hardwood forests on natural surfaces. There are some small hills and shallow water crossings. Care should be taken to avoid the rifle range, radio-controlled airfield and the bow club, all on the south side of the lake. See map. These trails are supported and maintained by the Jackson County OHC.
Trail Rating: Moderate – Rolling to hilly terrain; short steeper slopes; water crossings; irregular trail surface; narrower trail widths
