There are 6 multi-purpose trails totaling 6 miles which pass through the hardwood forest on the north side of Mt. Gilead Lake. The trails are primitive with a natural-surface treadway. There are moderate hills and shallow water crossings. The trailhead is a large gravel parking lot with no amenities.
