Possum Creek Metro Park

The more than 4-miles of bridle trail at Possum Creek is relatively flat and scenic and has very few obstacles, which make it perfect for beginners.  The trail’s close proximity to Dayton allows riders to get away to the country without the long drive.  It loops the park taking riders through woodlots, tall grass prairies open fields on natural surfaces.   Horse trailers can be parked at the Horse Trailer lot at 5000 Frytown Rd.  Water, picnic tables, grills and restrooms are available at the trailer lot.
