Silver Creek Metro Park sits on a 1000 acre former civil-war era dairy farm. Much has changed with the planting of thousands of trees and a 50 acre lake. Today, 8 miles of bridle trail pass through maple/beech and oak forests, open meadows and grass lands on mostly dirt or grass surfaces. Some moderate hills and shallow stream crossings. Paved trailhead parking areas are just north and south of the GPS point. No amenities but restrooms are nearby. Check map for other trailer parking areas.
Trail rating:Easy – Level or gently sloping terrain; consistent groomed surface; wide trail surface; shallow or no water crossings
