The Twin Creek Metro Park offers an escape from the busy I-75 corridor with access to heavily-wooded hills and ravines adjacent to Twin Creek just north of Middletown. The 7 miles of bridle trail loops through heavily-wooded bottom lands and fields on either side of Twin Creek. Threadways are natural surfaces with several wide, shallow crossings of Twin Creek itself. The trailhead, exclusive for equestrians, is a large gravel parking lot which can hold at least a dozen trailers. There are tie rails and posts and picnic tables but no other amenities.
