Unger Park lies just on the edge of Bucyrus and consists of 53 acres of restored tall-grass prairie and bottomland woods. The 2 mile bridle trail system, shared with hikers, winds its way through mature prairies, forests, and along the edge of the Sandusky River on mostly grassy surfaces. These trails were built in cooperation with the Crawford County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman’s Council. The trailhead is a large gravel parking lot capable of holding several trailers. No amenities.
