Paddle Creek is the public camping area for equestrians wanting to enjoy some beautiful SE Ohio hills. Camping here puts the rider in the middle of the 40+ miles trail system at Lake Vesuvius from hardwood and coniferous forests, rock shelters, high cliffs, rock walls, babbling brooks, wetlands and all the wildlife that would attract. Overlay that with 43 miles of beautiful and, sometimes challenging bridle trails to complete the picture. Take a connector trail and ride to more trails in Dean State Forest nearby.
