The Stone Church Horse Camp east of Lancaster in Perry County is named for the skeletal ruins of an old stone church nearby. This horse trail system provides 21 miles of scenic trails passing through mature and second-growth forests, brush land and open fields. The trails are primitive on natural surfaces with some steep hills and many stream crossings. The horse camp has a gravel drive with grassy campsites and plenty of shade. High line/tie rails, stock water and a port-a-john are available. The trails are closed to horse use from December 16 to April 14 each year. Check map for another trailhead.
