Check your Cuyahoga OHC Newsletter and Emails for changes Jacks Place Trailhead is located on Old Button Rd. at Dunham and Tinkers Creek Rd. just beyond the Park Maintenance Area. There is a small corral, picnic tables and a mounting block. Toilets a short walk away in the Hemlock Creek Picnic Area. Jack’s Place is on Button Rd., directly across from Tinkers Creek Road (near the ice cream store)

Reservation-Jack’s Place Trailhead – Ride out 10:00 a.m.
This will be a leisurely paced ride. Trailhead is between the
Maintenance office 14505 Button Rd. and Hemlock Creek
Picnic Area. Enter from the intersection of Dunham Rd
and Tinkers Creek Rd.
Helen is leading this ride and is very experienced
on the Bedford trails. I hear talk that there will be a prize or
two to win so be sure to join the fun. These trails are
secluded and beautiful and the overlooks spectacular. You
will not see many other people on trail; and the trailhead
has a mounting platform and a small corral for your horse
after the ride while you picnic and visit. Bald Eagles inhabit
the area and are an added bonus.
Did you know that National Trails Day is celebrated every
first Saturday of June to showcase all kinds of trails, hiking,
biking, water and bridle trails? There are also volunteer
work parties on that day. 70,000 people were involved
across the nation last year in NT Day events.Come on and
join the trail ride in Bedford be part of the fun!

The Cleveland MetroParks open at 6 AM and close at 11 PM.
You must bring your own horse to the event. Please feel free to attend this ride with Cuyahoga OHC. If you are not an Ohio Horsemen’s Council member, you may participate in events 2 or 3 times a year.
