Cuyahoga, Medina, and Summit County OHC are hosting a State Ride on September 26th – 28th across from 3795 Chagrin River Road, Chagrin Falls Ohio 44022 in the Cleveland Metroparks South Chagrin Reservation Polo Field.
Friday 9/26: Event opens at noon
6PM dinner Kathi Green and Centerra Representatives will be hosting a taco dinner. Their presentation was a big hit last year answering many questions you may have about horse nutrition and care. The dinner is complimentary, but you MUST register with Rosemary and let her know that you are attending if you are not registered camping overnight.
Saturday 9/27
Day riders, nonriders welcome – you must supply your own horse to ride
Tables of priceless goods – $1, $5, $10 flea market. Please look around your house or barn or your friend’s place for very welcome donations to the sale
8AM to 9AM Breakfast Croissants, muffins, etc
9 AM Cleveland Metroparks Mounted Police Unit Obstacle Course – $25 donation with a maximum of 20 riders. Helmets required to participate. This course will challenge horse and rider with expected and unexpected things you may encounter on trail or the road and you will learn how to stay safe with some fun thrown in as well
Lunch is on your own..
11AM Ride on your own or with a guide, shopping the flea market tables and visiting throughout the day
5PM Live Auction, Raffle, and 50/50 Raffle
6 PM Dinner, Campfire, Music, Line Dancing
Sunday 9/28
Continental Breakfast Biscuits and Gravy, Oatmeal etc. 8AM to 9PM
Last minute bargains and bundles at the flea market table
Rides
Goodbyes site cleanup inspection and $10 refund finished by 1 PM
End of Event 4PM
